I want to welcome you to a new year of musical excellence with First Redeemer Church Conservatory of Music & Fine Arts. God has assembled an outstanding group of instructors, and they are eager to share their musical talents with you.
History and Philosophy
The First Redeemer Church Conservatory of Music & Fine Arts is celebrating its 12th anniversary! A division of the Worship & Music Ministry, the Conservatory seeks to help all students develop their talents to use for God’s glory. The Conservatory is staffed by qualified Christian teachers desiring to provide an environment for students to grow musically and spiritually. Instruction is offered in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, music theory, photography, art and drama.
As part of fulfilling the Great Commission, the Conservatory is a Musical Outreach and Leadership Development component of FRC, helping individuals connect to God through His Son Jesus Christ and teaching our students the art of worship through instrumental, vocal and drama performance, and through the visual arts.
Students, remember that your parents are making sacrifices on your behalf every time you are here for a lesson. They have spent money and have given up doing things for themselves just to get you to each lesson. Please honor your mother and father by showing your appreciation. One way to do that is to take advantage of this opportunity to learn and master an instrument by practicing and being prepared for your lessons. These lessons are an investment in your future and your success is directly related to the effort you put in. I hope your experience this semester is one you will remember for a long time. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
