First Redeemer Church Privacy Policy

First Redeemer Church (FRC) is committed to protecting your privacy. FRC recognizes that an individual’s privacy is very important to them and that they have a right to control their personal information. The following statement spells out our privacy policy in more detail. By using the FRC website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. The policy applies to firstredeemer.org and other sites on the World Wide Web owned and/or operated by FRC. Any future updates to this policy will be posted on this page.

Information Collected

First Redeemer collects two different types of information. One type is voluntary information, which you provide, such as registration information for events, membership information, or giving information. FRC does not knowingly collect identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

The other type of information First Redeemer collects is user information provided by your computer each time you visit this site, such as IP address, browser, operating system, areas of the sites visited, date and time of access. This information collected is for our internal purposes only and helps us to provide information and service to you. It is NOT disclosed to any non-affiliated third parties.

A cookie is a small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser. Its purpose is to remember information about you. Cookies themselves do not enable us to access any personal information about our visitors; however, FRC may use cookies to help us see which areas of our web site are more popular, which are not, and how they are being used so that we can improve and update our web site to more accurately meet the needs of our users.

FRC may use Google Analytics to help us gather details about the use of our websites. Google Analytics is a Web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their sites. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

Credit Card/Payment Information Policy

We take privacy seriously and take multiple steps to ensure cardholder data does not fall into the wrong hands. Currently we do not store full credit card numbers, card expiration dates or cvn numbers on our server at any time—this info is sent directly to our payment processor and always communicated over encrypted communication channels.

Links to Third Party Websites

FRC encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from FRC so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. FRC is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the FRC website.
