What Should I Wear to First Redeemer Church?

What Is the Teaching Like?

What Does First Redeemer Offer for Children?

Families with children will find age-appropriate environments through Redeemer Kids.

Our children's ministry is designed to do more than simply keep children occupied while their parents attend worship. We want children to learn about God through His Word, and we want to partner with parents as their children develop a real and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

Preschool

Nursery-age children are cared for in a secure and comfortable environment, while 2-year-olds through preschool-age children participate in classes organized by age.

Kindergarten Through Fifth Grade

Elementary children participate in both Kids Worship and small groups.

Kids Worship is a large-group experience that combines music, games, drama, and biblical teaching.

Small groups give children an opportunity to dig deeper into God's Word through age-appropriate lessons and activities with other children in their grade.

At 9:30 AM, kindergarten through second grade participate in Kids Worship while third through fifth grade attend small groups.

At 11:00 AM, those groups switch, allowing children to experience both environments when families are on campus for both hours.
If you're bringing children for the first time, arriving a few minutes early will give you time to get everyone checked in and comfortable before worship begins.

What About Middle and High School Students?

First Redeemer's Student Ministry serves students in grades 6–12.

On Sunday mornings, middle and high school students have opportunities to connect with students their own age and study God's Word together.

Student Community Groups are organized by grade and gender and are led by adults who are passionate about discipling students.

Throughout the year, students also have opportunities for worship, events, trips, missions, service, and other activities designed to help them develop genuine Christian community and grow in their faith.

If you have a teenager who is wondering, "Will there be anyone my age?", the answer is yes.

Are There Small Groups for Adults?

Absolutely.

Sunday morning doesn't have to be limited to attending a worship service.

First Redeemer offers opportunities for adults to connect through small groups and Bible studies for a variety of ages, interests, and stages of life.

Small groups are one of the best ways to move from simply attending a church to actually knowing people at church.

If you're new, don't feel as though you have to figure everything out on your first Sunday. You can attend worship first, get comfortable with the church, and then let us help you find a group that's a good fit.

Will I Be Singled Out Because I'm a Visitor?
